Frequently Asked Questions

Question Answer
Q1. How can I tell which bearings, voltage and/or IP enclosure my motors have?

This information can be found in the last 8 digits of your motor SKU. Refer to the example below:

Q2. Where can I get updated datasheets? You can find updated datasheets on the Motor Selection Tool.
Q3. What happens if I submit a PO for a SKU that includes a discontinued selection, such as steel bearings? Infinitum’s Customer Support Team will contact you to request an updated PO with an available selection. In this example, the SKU would need to be updated to hybrid ceramic bearings.
Q4. Do any of the changes impact form, fit or function? The changes do not impact form or fit. Function is enhanced through the addition of hybrid ceramic bearings and IP65 ingress protection.
Q5. Does this change impact EC+ Fan systems? Yes. The above changes are applicable for both Aircore EC+ motor and fan systems.
